Institute of Laboratory of Suicidology, Psychology of Tianjin University and Mental Health Education Center of Tianjin University will be hosting 2021 China International Conference on Suicidology. The conference will be held online on November 4-5, 2021 from 8:30-16:30 (UTC/GMT+8:00).

Tianjin University is one of the top ten universities in China . Institute of Psychology of Tianjin University established in 2003, which has seven research or practice platforms including Tianjin University Social Science Laboratory, Mental Health Center of Tianjin University and Laboratory of Suicidology. The current director of Institute of Psychology of Tianjin University is Professor Yang Li, who is also the chief supervisor of crisis intervention and the director of Laboratory of Suicidology.

The goal of this conference is to bring together the top scholars around the world to discuss on the direction and growth of Suicidology . We are honored to have Professor David A. Jobes as our chiarman who has published extensively in the field and routinely conducts professional training in clinical suicidology, professional ethics, and risk management for over 30 years. As past president of the American Association of Suicidology (AAS), his work has been recognized with the Marsha Linehan Award for Outstanding Research in the Treatment of Suicidal Behavior and the Louis I. Dublin Award for Career Contribution to Suicide Prevention from the AAS, among other honors. 

The theme of this conference will be The Direction of Suicidology: The Global  Perspective. Every presentation in the conference should be related to the theme. Each presentation should be around thirty minutes. A fifteen-minutes discussion will also be arranged at the end of every presentation .
